Although I have been aware of Blogging and its potential, I must admit that besides posting to other peoples blogs, I had not created one until last month. While at NECC in June, I participated in a workshop dealing with various methods of online communication, including Blogging. It was the first time that I actually "had the time" to devote to the creation of my own Blog. Now the trick will be finding the time to devote to regular entries! I would love to have the teachers at my school take up Blogging as a way to share and enlighten others. However, we have the same issues as many other schools, and that is NO BLOGGING ALLOWED! I am curious to hear how many others are in this same boat. I am also interested in those that have overcome this roadblock.

My opinion is that we have to find and share good examples of its use to overcome the roadblocks. We did the same thing when introducing the Internet into schools.
The nay-sayers and end-of-the-worlders will be wrong again.
